In&OutStories secures a broadcasting deal with Fox Sports for UTS in the US

FOX SPORTS 2 TO BROADCAST INNOVATIVE TENNIS LEAGUE UTS ACROSS THE UNITED STATES, STARTING ON MAY 24-25

FOX Sports 2 has secured the rights to broadcast the second season of UTS (Ultimate Tennis Showdown) in the United States, starting with UTS4, first event of the season, on May 24-25 at the Mouratoglou Academy, in the South of France. Created by Patrick Mouratoglou, the coach of Serena Williams, the league’s ambition is to modernize tennis and attract a younger and larger fan-base thanks to a faster-paced format and innovative rules. UTS matches are made up of four quarters of eight minutes each, with a potential “sudden death” in case of a tie. Fans will get to enter the players’ universe through mid-match interviews, on-court coaching, and a looser code of conduct. UTS also comes with a set of unique rules. For example, for the first time in tennis, players will only have one serve. Players also have the option to play “UTS Cards” which grant them an advantage, such as “Winners count x3” or “+1 serve.” UTS Season 1 featured 5 Top 10 players, led by Dominic Thiem “Domi” and Stefanos Tsitsipas “The Greek God”. The league comes back strong with an electric line-up at UTS4:

FOX SPORTS 2 QUOTE: “UTS’ format is something the tennis community has never seen before. It’s new, it’s fresh, it’s exciting. We’re very happy to broadcast UTS Season 2 across the United States. This is a great opportunity to diversify our offer with such as unique concept, putting some of the best tennis players under the spotlight in an entirely new way.“ UTS QUOTE: “We’re pleased to have one of USA’s leading sports channel FOX Sports on board for this new season of UTS. Americans have always been devoted tennis fans, and I hope they will enjoy watching USA’s Taylor Fritz compete in this completely disruptive format at UTS4.” – Patrick Mouratoglou
